Energy Efficient Homes Package
The Australian Federal Government's Energy Efficient Homes Package is a $4 billion package to improve the energy rating of Australian homes - cutting their energy waste, making them more comfortable and helping home owners save up to 40 per cent on their electricity bills.

Insulation is the simplest, most effective and cheapest way to make your house more energy efficient and keep it cooler in summer and warmer in Winter
The Government estimates that up to 40% of Australian homes are not insulated.
Who is eligible?
You are eligible for free ceiling insulation if you:
- Are a home owner-occupier - that is, you live in your own home
- Don't already have ceiling insulation
- Are installing insulation in an existing home after 1st September 2009 (excludes new homes or extensions to existing homes)
- are an Australian citizen or permanent resident aged 18 years or over.
How to book the work in
- Call our local office as listed above.
- We will confirm that you will qualify for the rebate.
- We will arrange for a surveyor to visit your property.
- Final prices and job confirmations will be arranged.
- First $1600 will be claimed by our company from the rebate scheme once the job is completed.
- If the job costs more than the rebate the difference will be paid by the client upon ordering.

Insulation is typically the most cost effective way to improve a home's energy efficiency. Although all newly-built homes must be insulated, many older homes - up to 40 per cent of Australia's housing stock - remain un insulated
This results in many householders paying much more than they need to in energy bills.
Once installed, households could save around $200 per year on their energy bills, as well as improve the comfort and value of their homes. The Energy Efficient Homes package will modernise Australia's homes, it will enable almost all Australian homes to be operating at a minimum 2 star energy rating by 2011.
For a time-limited period of two and a half years, from 1 September 2009 , owner-occupiers without ceiling insulation will be eligible for free product and installation (capped at $1600) simply by making a phone call. As an interim arrangement, from today until 30 September 2009, eligible owner-occupiers who install ceiling insulation in their homes will be able to seek reimbursement (up to $1600) after the program commences. The Government estimates 2.2 million owner-occupied homes will benefit from this program.
Under this Energy Efficient Homes package, homeowners will be able to access either the insulation program or the solar hot water rebate.For more information,
