We have been selling portable spa since 2003 under the same ABN number.  We have sold over 3500 spas.

All our spas have a 10 year warranty on the structure of the frame . This Warranty period is valid from the date of original purchase and covers all products against defective materials or workmanship.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

 

WARRANTY FOR OUR SPAS

 

20 Year Shell Structural Warranty

 

Southwest Spa warrants the fibreglass structure against defects in material for

three years from the date of delivery. When Southwest Spa receives your warranty

registration online, within 15 Days of delivery, this warranty will be extended to

twenty years from the date of delivery.

 

2 Year acrylic Surface Warranty

Southwest Spa warrants the acrylic surface against blisters, or cracks due to defects

in material and/or workmanship for two years from the date of delivery.

Southwest Spa will repair or replace at their discretion a

spa found to be defective under the terms of the warranty. If the spa can not be

repaired on site the spa must be returned at the owners expense to Southwest Spa

Neither Southwest Spa nor its agents are responsible for any freight, shipping, removal or

re installation cost. Labour costs not included.

 

5 Year Jet face replacement

All jet faces are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for one

year from date of delivery.

 

2 Year equipment pack & controller Warranty

The equipment pack & controller is warranted against defects in materials or

workmanship for one year from date of delivery.  Warranty is void if an extension lead

is used. Southwest Spa equipment warranty is only valid on portable models. Warranty

on equipment & pack is not valid if spa supplied is for in ground installation, or

requires a separate gas heating and pump package.

 

2 Year pump(S) Warranty

The pump(s), motor(s) are warranted against defects in materials or

workmanship (excluding seals) for one year from date of delivery. Warranty

is void if an extension lead is used. Southwest Spa pump(s) warranty only valid

on portable models. Warranty on Pump(s) is not valid if spa supplied is for in

ground installation, or requires a separate gas heating and pump package.

other Warranties

The following items are covered as follows:

1. The turbo blower is warranted for 1 year from date of delivery from Southwest

Spa against defects in material or workmanship.

2. The spa cabinet structure is warranted against defects in materials or

workmanship for 10 years from the time of delivery by Southwest Spa to the

original purchaser. This warranty does not include coverage for wear and

appearance as all wood reacts differently to environmental conditions.

 

 

3. The ozone on spas equipped with factory installed ozone system is covered

for 1 year.

4. All stainless steel fittings and trim rings are covered for two years from

date of purchase.

5. Spa heater element warranty is two years from date of purchase.

6. The spa cover is warranted for 1 year from date of purchase.

7. Jet or plumbing leakage 1 year from date of purchase.

8. Spa pillows 90 days from date of purchase.

9. Southwest Spa foam insulation is warranted against defects and material for a

period of 10 years.

 

Warranty performance

Warranty coverage is extended only to the original owner from the date of

original delivery by Southwest Spa. Spas not purchased from an authorised Southwest

Spa dealer are specifically excluded from warranty coverage of any kind. Southwest

Spa will at its sole discretion, repair or replace any spa or component found to

be defective under the terms and conditions of this warranty. Reasonable travel

or trip costs will be charged by Southwest Spa or its representatives in situations

where the spa is located outside the nearest service area. Southwest Spa reserves

the right to substitute spa or component of equivalent value, either new or

reconditioned. Spa surface repairs will be made to function satisfactorily; any

such repair or replacement shall assume as its warranty only the remaining

portion of the warranty on the original product. Non defective replacements

parts required to perform or complete warranty repairs will not be covered under

this warranty. To obtain warranty service, notify your agent or manufacturer.

 

Written notice of any defect/malfunction must be given within ten days of the

time the problem is apparent. Original receipt showing purchase of the spa,

showing date of delivery, will be required. Southwest Spa MUST pre authorise the

return of all defective parts. Freight charges must be paid by the buyer for the spa to be assessed if the entire spa has to be returned to the factory for repair. The customer will bear all freight

costs for spas to be returned to the factory for repairs that prove to be non

warranty problems

 

Labour warranty

All labour charges are not covered by the warranty, and all service labour costs are to be covered by the buyer.

 

 

limitations and exemptions to Southwest Spa Warranty.

 

The following items are specifically excluded from any warranty coverage:

1. If the spa supplied is for in ground installation, or requires a separate gas

heating and pump package, the warranty only extends to shell structure,

jet face and acrylic surface.

2. The warranty shall be invalid if the spa has been subjected to any

alterations, misuses, abuses, or if any repairs are attempted by anyone

other than authorised representative of Southwest Spa.

3. Damage resulting from operating the spa at a water temperature outside

the range of 4˚ to 40˚ Celsius for any reason.

4. Damage resulting from improper water maintenance. Sanitisers such as

SODIUM TRI CHLOR type chlorine (tablets/sticks), calcium hydrochloride,

sodium hydrochloride or any chemical that may remain undissolved on the

spa surface. Do not use caustic solutions that will damage your spa. Any

chemical not compatible with acrylic surface or equipment will void this

warranty completely.

5. Spa surface damage if determined, to have been caused by improper use

of chemical dispenser.

6. Damage to the spa surface caused by leaving the spa uncovered and in

direct exposure to sunlight.

7. Damage caused by failure to follow procedures defined in the owners manual.

8. Damage caused by dirty, clogged, or calcified filter cartridges.

9. Damage caused by failure to set the spa on a hard level surface sufficient to

support the spa (according to standard building practices) are considered

abuses and may invalidate this limited warranty.

10. Damage caused by improper or incorrect electrical hook up.

11. Spa light bulb and spa cartridge filter element.

12. Spa drain hose connection.

13. For commercial use all warranties are as follows:

Shell structure and acrylic surface two years from date of delivery

Turbo blower and spa cover six months from date of delivery.

14. Damage caused by moving the spa

15. Acts of God

16. Stereos and components.

17. If warranty registration is not returned or registered within 15 days of

delivery, the spa will only hold a standard manufacturers warranty.

 

Disclaimer

 

Except as expressed herein there shall be no other warranty or obligations

expressed or implied, oral or statutory.

Southwest Spa or any of its authorised agents shall not be held liable for injury

caused or loss of use of your spa.

Southwest Spa or any of its authorised agents shall not be held liable for chemicals

or any other incidental or consequential costs, expenses or damages which

may include but are not limited to the removal of buildings, doors, decks or

other custom features. Access to all the spa’s working components including

pipework, must be provided for service work to be carried out. Southwest Spa are

not liable for any costs incurred in creating access to carry out service work.

Under no circumstances shall Southwest Spa be.

 

No labour warranty is included within the warranty.

 All warranties must be registered within 7 days of the arrival of the spa.

All discrepancies must be notified in writing within 7 days of the spa arrival to the client.

The warranty for the spa excludes spas which are set up in commercial situations,
